February 6, 2016 NPE students performed an original play on the history of hip-hop at the Nyack Center's Black History Month Celebration. Check it out below...

February 20, 2016 - May 1, 2016 NPE hosted a SAT / ACT prep class for the community. The class was filled to capacity and culminated with the students taking an actual SAT or ACT.

May 14, 2016 NPE hosted its annual Scholarship Award Ceremony. Four graduating seniors were honored as well as two students moving up to high school.

July 7, 2016 As part of its Summer Program for members, NPE arranged for a tour of the Nasdaq Marketsite in New York City. Attendees learned about the stock market in general as well as specifics on the structure of the Nasdaq market.

July 8, 2016 As part of its Summer Program, NPE arranged for members and their guests to spend a night at the American Museum of Natural History. This event was a hit with the young children who especially enjoyed the dinosaurs.

July 16, 2016 NPE hosted its 8th annual summer fundraiser event, Wine, Music and Arts Festival from 12pm - 6pm at Palaia Winery at 10 Sweet Clover Rd., Woodbury, NY. A fun time was had by all. Check out some photos from the event below:

July 31, 2016 As part of its Summer Program, NPE arranged for members and their guests to visit the National Museum of the Native American Indian. Attendees learned a great deal about the life and customs of the Indian tribes in the Americas.

August, 2016 NPE had Summer Enrichment sessions as part of its Summer Program. This year's sessions focused on the African influence in the various islands of the Caribbean. You can check out numerous pictures from the Summer Enrichment sessions on our Facebook page here.

September 9, 2016 - October 23, 2016 NPE hosted a College Essay Prep Course which was open to the public.

October 8-10, 2016 NPE hosted its Fall 2016 College Tour of schools in and around Philadelphia including UPenn, Temple, Drexel, Lincoln and Cheyney. The college tour was open to the public.

October 22, 2016 NPE co-hosted the 2nd Annual Youth Symposium: Creating Leaders from Cradle to College in conjunction with Jack and Jill of America, Rockland Orange Chapter and New Rochelle-White Plains Kappa League. The leadership development program was free to the public.

November 5, 2016 NPE co-hosted a Comedy Night fundraiser with the New Rochelle-White Plains Kappa League featuring Donnell Rawlings at Levity Live in West Nyack, NY.

December 3, 2016 NPE hosted its Almost Christmas Family Holiday Dinner Party from 5pm - 9pm at the DoubleTree Hilton in Mahwah. It was an excellent time for NPE members and friends to celebrate the season with their children.
